Predefined gestures

Pre-defined gestures are located in the Command Editor.

To access the pre-defined gestures:

1. Open the Command Editor by selecting Start > All Programs > Shorthand, or by tapping the Shorthand icon  in the System Tray.
   
2. Select the application and action in the left pane.
   The gesture for the application and action you selected appears in the right pane under Gestures that will execute this action.
   
   Note: To expand the contents of a gesture category listed in the left pane of the Command Editor, click the  symbol. To collapse the contents of the gesture category, click the  symbol.

Example:

To find the gesture that launches the default web browser, expand the Global Actions gesture category in the left pane, and then select Run Web Browser [W]. The W is displayed in the right pane under Gestures that will execute this action.

Note: The brackets to the right of the actions also contain the primary gesture that executes the action. Look at the contents of the right pane to see if more than one gesture executes the same action.
